Someone used an old address found on an online broker such as White Pages to file my taxes. Although much of the information White Pages has is old, outdated and no longer accurate, some of their information is accurate and it places me and my family members in jeopardy. They are offering my cellular number, address, employment, and information on my family members to sale to the public. Over the past decade I have contacted White Pages multiple times to remove my personal information off their website. But if you have any concerns you can rest assured that they will do their best in an extremely timely manner to apply. It is just public records and not private phone company records which is sad but understandable. Summing everything up, they provide the service the market. I have never had such a quick and helpful response from customer service before. Extremely fast and the customer service helped me out with the situation immediately. I sent an email the same day I saw the charge and was extremely pleased to receive a response in under an hour time.

Later they charged me for the premium version when the trial ended. I signed up for the premium trial of just a dollar. The address was current which eventually enabled my entry in contact once again. The phone numbers were old and either deactivated or connected to a new owner of that number. The site asked me questions to determine whom on the list of people with that name was the one I was looking for. Quite how comfortable everyone feels about having their personal information so easily available is another thing, although that never seems to put people off using Facebook either.I used whitepages to get in contact with some of my old friends. It is a useful tool, and much like more general searches on the web and using social media outlets, Whitepages serves a purpose. Whitepages leaves us with mixed feelings. Thankfully, Whitepages now takes on this issue by offering individuals the option of removing themselves from the company database, or correcting or updating information where that might be necessary. Of course, with its data coming from a variety of sources, including the likes of phone companies and public records the tradeoff is always about how much privacy people could and should expect. Whitepages continues to provide a range of useful services, and has an awful lot of data in order to back up its improved online experience and associated apps. There’s also an option to submit a request if you need to ask a more complex questions not covered in the knowledge base, or have a query about your account, billing procedures and so on.
